New Windows 11 Build 22631.3371 – Moment 5 Features, New Features and Fixes (Release Preview)

Hello Windows Insiders! We’re excited to announce the release of Windows 11 Builds 22621.3371 and 22631.3371 (KB5035942) to our Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. These updates are available for both Windows 11, version 22H2 (Build 22621) and version 23H2 (Build 22631)

Here are the key features and improvements included in these builds:

Lock Screen Enhancements:
- Your lock screen now offers more than just weather updates. In addition to weather, you’ll find content related to sports, traffic, and finance. To enable this feature, navigate to Settings > Personalization > Lock screen. Note that this feature may roll out gradually to all users
Windows Hello for Business Enhancement:
- IT administrators can now use mobile device management (MDM) to disable the prompt that appears when users sign in to an Entra-joined machine. By enabling the “DisablePostLogonProvisioning” policy setting, provisioning is turned off for both Windows 10 and Windows 11 devices
Remote Desktop Session Host Improvements:
- You can now configure the “clipboard redirection” policy for Remote Desktop Session Host to work in a single direction from the local computer to the remote computer. You can also reverse this order
Daylight Saving Time (DST) Support:
- These updates include support for DST changes in Greenland, Kazakhstan, and Samoa. For more details, refer to the relevant guidance documents
Other Fixes and Enhancements:
- Improvements related to MSIX applications, COM+ components, and time service configuration.
- Addressed issues affecting Containers, touch keyboard, and Neural Processing Units (NPU).
